Welcome to October. September was a very
tense month. Adjusting to Saturn’s residency in Virgo has taken its toll.
People I’ve been talking to have been quite stressed. Our plates are full now
with the new demands of Virgo – to clean up our acts. Thank goodness for Virgo
or we’d have a real mess, eh? This month is highlighted by the Jupiter square
with Uranus that will give us quite a boost. These two planets work very well
together. They will encourage us to feel good about our attitudes of growth
(Jupiter). We will feel more confident about our desires to get out from under
repressive or limiting situations (Uranus.) I hope you all have a wonderful
month!

Librans of
Interest and Astrological Musings…
October won’t be simple, but it must be
some relief from the flat-out weirdness of the latest changes: with Saturn now
in Virgo, the recently aggravating Mars opposition to Pluto, and the heavy-duty
9/11 Solar Eclipse. Whew! Things are going to be greatly highlighted by the
October 9th Jupiter square (right angle) to Uranus. Even though we’re
collectively experiencing the practical demands of Saturn in Virgo and awaiting
the epic promises of Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn in January of 2008, this
month’s Jupiter-Uranus square will give us quite a needed lift! Jupiter is the encourager
and Uranus the liberator. It doesn’t
take a genius to see how these two will mix! Below is an itemized description
of how I see this affecting each sign for months and months to come…
Aries (Mar 21-Apr 19) The collective has been encouraging you for months or even years
now to go for it. Now a powerfully
instinctive voice says, “Yes!” This is time to own your instincts – that’s your
real power anyway. Let others think before they leap – not you. You’re hunches
have been right all along. The time is ripe to travel and seek new lands and frontiers
to quench your pioneering thirst. Shake off the dust, pack the backpacks, and blaze
a new trail! It might even be back to school for you now, regardless of your
age.
Taurus (Apr 20-May 20) Your
conservative, cautious, steady-as-she-goes nature is going to need to take a
backseat right now. You’re seeing clearly now how you’re going to have to have
to spend some money in order to make money and money is the name of the game
for many Taureans, right? More likely, it’s about physical security.
Nevertheless, you will be encouraged and feel good about picking up the speed
in your life. Others will be quite supportive of you too – they love the
cooking aromas from your kitchen for sure! Heck, you might even move your
recliner a foot or two left or right.
Gemini (May
21-Jun 21) Career
or relationship? Relationship or career? Heck, this is
GEMINI we’re talking about here. You can have BOTH! Tremendous optimism gets
released here as partners back up your job plans and you’re able to go forward
with one for each - one for each Twin. The time is ripe to find a partner who
is supportive of your adventurous, explorative plans! You will also be encouraged
to socialize with fellow workers, but who am I to rain on your parade? Seldom
has there been a period where you will feel so good about your career and your
love life. Spread your natural easy-going charm all around and leave the
fuddy-duddies behind!
Cancer (Jun 22-Jul 22) For
the longest time now, you’ve been feeling inspired and creative. You’ve been
trying to tell everyone just how great your ideas are, but they haven’t been
listening. I guess we’re going to have to operate!? No, now is the time to let
‘er rip, let your fellow workers know of your plans. Your optimism and can-do
attitude is catchy now. You’re greatly encouraged now to learn new skills, ones
that will serve you well, especially hi-tech ones. Family members are surprised
by your new independent, headstrong attitude.
Leo (Jul 23-Aug 22) Now
is the time to bring out your fire. “Here Comes the Sun,” right? Ask the milder
souls to please step aside for a moment. Sticky relationships have abounded for
you the past two years. Now is your chance to let your natural buoyancy lift
you out of your torpor. You’re light is shining so brightly now you won’t even
need sun-screen! This configuration is akin to a solar flare – one right down
your alley. Let your confidence roar now and take over. That’s what others are
waiting for anyway. “Put ‘em up, put ‘em up!” - you’re first to see the Wizard, right?
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22) My
goodness. You’re actually going to put down your power tools and go out and
have some fun?! That’s great! You’re family has been needing
you for a long time. Like I’ve said, no one is following you with a clipboard
keeping track of your “mistakes” other than you. It’s time to RELAX and have
some FUN! Virgo’s are great people. Let your hair down some now and enjoy the
real individuals in your family. Look beyond the “provider” role you so aptly
fulfill and feed the soul.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22) You’re
finally getting the gumption to break free of your work. Now is the time to
explore and feel good about expanding your skill set. Possibly the brightest
overall sign of the zodiac, Libra needs to go for the gusto in terms of their
career. Never one to miss a beat, however, Libra often waits too long for the tide
to be perfect. Now is not the time
for that – tis the time to use your facile mind to guide you to a new vista in
the work place. You’re in great demand now, parlay
that into new opportunities for yourself. The doors will open, but you do need
to nudge them a bit.
Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21) Oh boy, I can see
it coming. Scorps are going to go out and spend some
big money! There’s no two ways about. You have the passion and you have the
need and who cares if you don’t have the mula?
Jupiter is really inspiring you now to take the chance. Restraint is restraint
and now is not its time! Go for it, you’ll figure out a way to pay for it
later. On a more humanistic side of things, your well-being is springing forth
unlike all the goop its been sloshing through since
the summer of 2005. Take yourself to the spa and pamper yourself. Take the leap
of faith – you’re just too cool to be denied now!
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 21) Now this one is
getting downright ridiculous. How does one tell a Sagittarian to have MORE FUN?
Do you think they’ll listen? I mean the merry-go-round can only go so fast!
This is an absolutely exceptional time for you. Everything lifts off - you’re
clicking on all gears. If you have been trying to get past some yucky old
emotional garbage, now’s the time to leave it in the dustpan. Everybody loves
Sag, right? (Yes, Ray Romano is a Sag too.) G’head, run for office, ask for a raise, walk the
tight-rope, balance an egg on end – do anything you want now. Things are so
much in your favor that the hardest thing you’re going to have to do now is to
keep from being scattered to the four winds. But who cares? You could have fun flying
a kite.
Capricorn (Dec 22-Jan 19) My God, did you
hear that? Even the crusty Old Goat is getting in on the fun. Caps are thinking
outside the box now and aren’t even afraid of being reprimanded! A sense of
well-being is rising from below and they are taking to speaking their own mind.
Imagine that. The carefree Careful One. Great news.
You really do need to see that you don’t always have everything figured out;
that the old tried-and-true methods aren’t always the best, and sometimes a
creative mental fling is exactly what you need. Keep some
smelling salts on hand for the loved ones near you that are going to
pass out when they see you on your new Harley.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18) Would
you go see, “Thelma and Louise Part II”?
I mean, I don’t know exactly how they’d explain that one, do you? But what I
see here is exactly that. Get your best pals together and go for it. Burning Man, The
Pisces (Feb 19-Mar 20) Finally, well, some sign
has to be last and isn’t it always Pisces – as it should be – the best for
last. You’ve had a lot of pressure on you recently from Saturn’s ingress into
Virgo pressuring you to get it together on the job front. But, all of a sudden,
who cares about earthly reality? Well, do be careful here – O Lords of the
Mirage. If you walk out of the job place, make sure it’s not a plank you’re
walking onto. Things might get carried away now as you eye that castle in the
sky! Get inspired, yes, follow your bountiful faith, yes, take your place among
the stars now, but do keep a tiny thread attached so you can find your way back
home. It’s a wonderful time now, but don’t create a new bubble to live in, only
one month after Saturn burst the last one. We’re going to have to have a talk.
